Smooth shaving so far

Appears to be very high quality, nice finish. I have tried settings #1 and #2 with great results (Derby blades), not too aggressive on those settings but still got a good shave. This thing has a nice weight and great adjustability. My favorite razor so far.

There’s a shaving renaissance going on with double edge/ vintage razors, I think due to the high price of high tech razors. I get a much closer shave with the right old Gillette razor and blade combination. I use grape seed oil as a pre-shave. This shaving soap is my latest and I must say the best I have tried so far, great Bay Rum smell and excellent lather. The soap is hard and in a tin but lathers easily and appears it will last a long time. Excellent shaving qualities (and I’ve tried quite a few). You will not be sorry in any way if you purchase this product.

Great pre-shave oil

I read grape seed oil was used as a primary ingredient in some pre-shave products so I decided to give it a try. I put a couple of drops in my hand and apply it to my wet beard. It absorbs well and does not seem to affect my shaving cream. It makes for a very smooth shave, also, it has very little odor that I can detect. Works great for me.
