Back to Life with minimal cost !
This PE 2380 is an old instrument but it is in remarkably good condition. After some simple, initial tests the instrument proves to be about 90% functional; there is one board which appears to need replacement. A very general clean up of the internals including the mirrors should bring this old PE 2380 back to life.

The old days!
1 of 1 found this helpful The movie does take me back to a different time and culture, the culture which was familiar to me as a child. In that sense the film is a great comfort to see Cagney and his cohorts once again as if live on the screen.
The time of "iron men" and "wooden machines" had a wonderful simplicity to it. Do business with a handshake, honour and gentlemanliness were the reigning principles.
The film awakened those days for me. It is more than a shame that they are forever gone. Now we must have many pages of paper to do business, no more handshake.
Now we have some plastic and synthetics instead of wood and iron.
The film is a time machine in a very real sense !
