Deluxe Norse Viking Helmet With Wings Winged 27780

Stayed on my head
I needed this particular hat because of the wings; I was doing a Brunhilde (from Wagner's Ring Cycle opera). Anyway, needed wings, not horns. The helmet came with wings detached. They were easy to attach, however care must be taken because the attachment points, (which protrude from the wings, and fit into the holes on the helmet), are blow-molded. The whole wing and nipple are one piece, and could easily be torn or snapped off. I didn't run into this issue. I attached and detached the wings a few times and even bumped into the wall couple of times, with no issue. The helmet is paint ready. I used a chrome spray paint for the helmet and a mat white for the wings. I also painted the fretwork gold. The paint stuck very well. I didn't have to do any prep. The helmet also fit very well. I think I have a small head based on the amount of headphone extending I have to do when wearing headphones. I pretty much don't have to extend the ear piece at all. So, small head. Anyway, I wore a wig and the helmet fit perfectly. based on the info I just stated, I would say as far as size goes, it's probably "medium". The helmet stayed on the whole time I wore it, and I can definitely recommend it.

If you're lucky enough to find Angel Hair by Sensations; buy it!
Joann's used to carry Sensations "Angel Hair' and "Beautiful" yarn. It was so incredibly soft! Now Joann's carries it under the brand name Buttercream, and it's not nearly as soft. There are still Sensations skeins out there and I recommend you buy it if you want the softest ever yarn.

These shoes are cute but not durable
These shoes are cute but not durable. They are appropriate for a special occasion. They are overpriced for the quality. The heel covering is fabric. The heel strap closure is velcro. If the quality, and therefore the durability, was turned up a little bit they would be a much better value, but with that fabric heel and the attachment points of the heel strap, along with the velcro closure of the heel strap, the quality just isn't there.
