Good design...poor adhesive

Unfortunately this is great design product in it's concept but the result is terrible. After installing the mount on my 2000 Tundra that I have babied for 15 years of my life, I had to remove since I sold it. After removing the adhesive as per mfg spec's it left a horrible spot residue from the adhesive. So a perfectly maintained dashboard is completely ruined. Great design with the magnet it works great but please don't try to remove. I tried to contact Scosche directly but I don't expect to hear back from them.
