A sound introduction to auto upholstery.
Easily understood step by step introduction to lay-out, cutting and sewing, in particular. The chapter on sewing machines was very well thought out.
The main drawback of this book is that it is aimed squarely at the 70's and 80's 'vinyl' era, and does not mention working with leather, at all.
A surprisingly informative book for the beginner.

Very accurate 123 Blocks.
Absolutely spot on the dimensions. A pleasant surprise.

Does the job nicely.
2 of 2 found this helpful Fitted this unit to a 750 kg tandem trailer with 10" drum brakes on one axle and rocker/roller suspension. I mounted it inside a small steel box on the draw-bar to avoid any tampering with the settings. This of course requires a power feed from the tow vehicle, and activation via the brake-light circuit. With multiple tow vehicles it is simpler to install power feed wires to the trailer light sockets than to fit one of these units in each vehicle. (Or to mount a dedicated battery on the trailer).
Set at around 70% on the scale it locks up the brakes on bitumen, with the trailer empty. Set at 10% it gives sufficient retardation without locking the wheels. Changes in braking are obvious at different settings. Appears robust and practical. I am pleased with the unit.
