Heavy Duty 2mm Zinc Plated Reinforced Corner Angle Bracket Packs

Cheap and effective.

I bought these brackets to fix fence rails to fence posts and they worked fine. Also, they didn't have the nasty, sharp, burs like their Screwfix counterpart. Slightly dearer than their counterpart, but purchasing 30 instead of 25 made their unit price cheaper.
