Fed up with the Windows toothache yet? Change your dentist - get a mac
Very experienced with all types of computers, I wanted to give Macintosh a closer look to see what the fuss was about. If you're not a gamer, this is an absolute bargain: it does everything you want without that 'Microsoft' feel - that is the feeling that you've had to buy a deliberately flawed OS so that things can (usually) be made better next time at greater cost. No, Macs have it right first time by giving the user just what they need without the incessant crashes and mysterious messages. Macs are WYSIWYG - the real thing. I think I have just become a fan.

Hello to a good buy - it works great without the complications.
If not overclocking and something that goes without fuss, no need to buy anything else.

Should've got it from the superstore
Thought I'd try out digital product - feel conned. 1. Clearly says 'Full HD 1080' next to name. Small print elsewhere says 'via HDMI input'. Inotherwords, it's 'HDMI Ready' 2. Move away from Head-on viewing and picture difficult to see - hugely variable. Probably the penalty paid for all LCD screens - my old analogue TV+receiver was far better. 3. Programme info is almost non-existent - you have to actually switch channels to see what is on elsewhere or at different time. Thought TV Guide was commonplace - not here! 4. Unstable input selection - sometimes switches from DTV to scart when viewing. 5. Picture quality is good - no fuzziness, but I found it hard to get a 'natural' looking colour scheme. 5. Sound is insufferably awful (typical of modern TVs?), but a cheapo speaker rig will cure it. 6. Price £10 cheaper than other high street sources but you can take it back to these easily. Look around, a lot of the electronic offers on ebay are available in various Superstores - same price and no-fuss returns. Overall, yes the picture is bigger and clearer than my old TV, but before, I could move around the room and still see the picture or select programmes. Lastly, you can no longer assume that because it is on ebay that it will be cheaper - times have changed.
