Does not work for me.
I have a severe hearing problem (my hearing is normal up to about 250hz and falls off sharply after that.
What I am looking for is a pre amp that will suppress the lower tones and accentuate the higher ones beginning at about 250hz.
I built and tested this board.
The test was conducted by setting both the bass and treble controls at minimums and, with a signal generator feeding signals from 100hz to 1500hz into the board and measuring the output with a spectrum analyzer.
The bass control worked pretty well increasing the strength of the 100hz signal by 16db, 500hz signal by 10db, 1000hz signal by 7db and 1500hz signal by 5db.
The treble control had no effect anywhere in the frequency range tested.
There are no specs published for this board, however, many preamp treble controls do not take effect until frequencies are well above 1500hz.
Unfortunately there is no published schematic for this board. If there were, I would try some part substitutions in the treble portions of the circuit.

It made my old slow computer into a new fast computer.
Moving the image of my existing hard drive to this thing was a little dicey and I am surprised to find a program that does not work without a little prodding. Aside from the moving OS and Program issues; it is like having a new fast computer.

Much better for high load applications
A675 are zinc air batteries the same size as LR44, AG13, A76, 357 and others.
The others are alkaline or silver oxide chemistry.
I have a bunch of hearing aids that put different loads on the batteries. LR44 etc batteries last about a week in most of them. The hearing aids that have a heavy draw deplete LR44's in about a day, sometimes a day and a half. In the hearing aids with a heavy draw A675's usually last about 12 days.
The drawback of zinc air batteries is they go dead in 2-3 weeks after you remove the tab whether you use them or not.
