Glorified tamagotchi, but its a fun way to kill time.
I bought this game because i'm a big digimon fan and really enjoyed the digimon story games. while this game is a big departure from the digimon story games, it is very reminiscent of the original tamagotchi virtual pets. your only true function in the game is to raise the digimon and maintain their health. you don't actually get to control the digimon as they fight like in the other digimon games. if you can get past the feeling like a cheerleader for your digimon as it runs around on the little screen, then this is actually a pretty enjoyable little game wherein which you can experiment with different evolutions. it really is a glorified tamagotchi though.
