Right-angle banana plugs are not machined well - too many issues
I purchased 10 banana plugs and 5 out 10 were defective. I was so excited when I received them because they appeared to be machined well, until I started to install them. I'm so pissed since I was all ready to replace my old Onkyo receiver and install my new Onkyo TX-NR757 AV receiver, new monster speaker cable, and connectors.
Here were the the issues with the plugs - 1 screw would not turn out (unscrew), 1 was missing a screw, 1 screw stripped the threads in the banana plug, and 2 of the silver aluminum outer jackets required me to use 2 small pairs of pliers, one to grip the gold plug and the other grip and unscrew the aluminum jacket... UHG!!!
I'm certain the good plugs will perform well once installed. It;s a matter of whether or not you plugs will be machined well.
