Can a tactical pen be an everyday pen?
I bought this and have been carrying it for about 3 or 4 weeks now. It's pretty much as described. I have some problems with using this for everyday carry, though.
The pen is very heavy which makes it fit uncomfortably in most shirt pockets. I suppose being heavy is a good thing for an impact weapon but not so good for a pen you want to carry every day. I also find having to twist the barrel to open and close the pen inconvenient. I prefer a click pen. But that's a relatively small thing.
I suppose this will break my auto glass but I expect I'd have to hit it pretty darn hard to do so. It's really too short to be much use as a weapon.
In the end I have made this my car pen. I keep it on the dash where I like to have a pen ready to grab for whenever I need it. It's doubling as my auto glass breaker in that regard. And I expect if I were to leave the car anticipating I might need an impact weapon I would grab this thing for whatever small use it would be in that regard.
