Every baseball household should own this movie
A timeless classic. Paints a great picture of baseball for the kids, and good family values. Kevin Costner does a excellent job, as does James Earl Jones et al. We watched it with our boys and several of the boys from their team and every loved the movie.

Highly recommended non-fiction pick
Great book. At first glance, it might seem like uninteresting content. But, what a fascinating story about tomatoes, their South American origins, and the migrant and sometimes enslaved workers in South Florida who pick them all winter. Highly recommended.
