Lots of extra for the price
Considering some of the basic "just a magnet" holders are nearly the same price, having this one with the built in hands free features is a real plus. It's a little fussy sometimes, especially when a lot of messages come it at once, and it's also a little disappointing that it can use my car's speakers but not its microphone. So I have to route it through my earpiece which means I can't use the voice command to play music since I would prefer at least that through the car which won't connect while my earpiece is on the bluetooth connection. Le sigh. So that's a letdown because the original reason I pulled the trigger on this was I had the idea I would basically wind up with Alexa over my car's audio system but it didn't work out that way. That one tiny fix about the microphone would totally catapult this to five stars. Anyway, I still really like it.

LOVE IT!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful Bible study has never captivated me because the language is so stilted and the culture so unfamiliar that most of its significance goes right over my head ... I hate to use the word "gibberish" but that's how it struck me. I get a lot out of learning about spiritual principles and relating them to theology but I wanted to deepen my understanding of their direct scriptural sources and this study bible has been the perfect tool for that. It places the readings in a sociopolitical and cultural context that lets me draw parallels to modern society and it gives me plenty of leads I can search on the web to learn even more if I choose. I now sit and do a daily study that takes 20 or 30 minutes using a daily reader that I use as a companion text. It narrows me down to a single chapter and I'm finally able to absorb the information in these bite size chunks. Yay!! So in conclusion I want to add that the five stars are for the study bible but all glory is to God!! Thank you Lord for providing all that I need to understand You better.

Yay!!
I really do like waking up to this each morning. Having trouble remembering to do the evening one before bed but that is my fault not the books. I keep my bible nearby to look up the verses as others have observed they are not printed inside. I like the stylish appearance of the faux-leather cover on my nightstand too.
