Good price - works well - loose collar

The only complaint I would make about this collar is that the strap has a tendency to come loose. When this happens, the collar will fall off of the dog and good luck finding it. What I did was to put a stitch in one end of the strap to keep it from sliding out of the adjustment slide. That means that I would have to cut the stitch if I ever needed to adjust the collar. But since I am not sharing this collar between my dogs, each dog gets his or her own collar with a cut-to-size strap. Another solution would be to sew velcro to the ends of the strap so that it could be adjusted. The device delivers a shock that is not to painful, but does get the dog's attention. It has stopped my big dog from barking at the cat, but before the girl dogs learned to stop barking at the neighbors, the battery ran down. So I have bought replacement batteries and I will keep up the training.
