Old and Obsolete
Product was as advertised. The cosmoline used to preserve it was hard and difficult to remove but the bearing itself was in good shape.

Good quality and fit
Parts seem to be good quality with no problem with installation.

Springfield (only) sight installation
1 of 1 found this helpful I have personally installed these sights on several different brands of my own pistols and like them a lot. However, be aware that on the Springfield pistols the original sights are installed at the factory using a 20 ton (I'm guessing) press and you won't be able to remove them with your normal sight removal tool and will have to use a hydraulic press to get them out. Not all gun shop/gunsmiths have such a press. The Truglo TFX Pro Tritium sights themselves are great.
