Hot Wire Foam Factory is amazing!
1 of 1 found this helpful I've been making custom gaming terrain for years, and have used foam for the vast majority of my projects. I have also made dozens of sets of giant Jenga blocks out of foam, and the HWFF cutters have been an invaluable tool for me.
While there are now other options, I've always been super impressed with how responsive HWFF is to their customers. They've been a long running supporter of the gaming terrain community and have made changes to their product line to accommodate user feedback and specific requests.
They've also got some really great additional products, besides just the cutting tools, like their foam coat material that allows you to keep your foam based projects in tip top condition for a long long time.
I've always had great luck with the products and the service from HWFF and would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone considering the purchase of a hot wire cutting tool.

Easy to use and more versatile than you might think!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great cutter that, like any tool, just takes some practice to get good with. I highly recommend taking the time to watch the HWFF videos and do a bit of experimenting with scrap pieces of foam so that you can get comfortable using this tool.
