Visually stimulating
Visually stimulating. With a nice balance of accessible text and illustrations, this is a lovely book for dipping in and out of.

be careful of what you buy
The book sent to me was not hardcover so the illustrations are very poor quality compared with the hardcover version. Also, some pages and sections of pages had been cut out of the book, thereby ruining the otherwise excellent. written material. I bought this book because I have previously borrowed from my local library and know it well. I am so disappointed that Taschen did not reprint this book. I had one ordered and paid for prior to the reprint date.
