Humangear capCAP Water bottle Cap for Nalgene, Camelbak wide mouth -  Blue
    24 February 2016
    this thing is great!
If you've got a wide mouth Nalgene or Camelbak water bottle and hate to have liquid spill down your front side when you drink from it, this is the answer. It also works great as a way to prevent spills when you pour form those bottles as well. I've got 2 bottles like this and have a capCAP on both. I gave it 4 stars only because if you screw the larger bottom half on a little too tight, it can be difficult loosening it up to unscrew it for filling or cleaning. This is a minor annoyance, but, when I combine this with the fact that the plastic loop that holds the upper cap on isn't that long and requires you to hold it out of the way, instead of naturally allowing the weight of the upper cap to keep it out of the way when you go to drink from it. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who has a wide mouth Nalgene and doesn't want to spend more money on a narrow mouth bottle. Although the cost is roughly the same, this gadget will enable you to not have to carry to different water bottles.
EXPED SCHNOZZEL PUMPBAG UL M CAMPING BACKPACKING SLEEPING BAG PAD PUMP NEW
    24 February 2016
perfect for dual use and pad infaltion
The Schnozzel bag is what I consider the perfect dual use item in your pack. This one is the 42L version and can act as a pack liner, waterproof stuff sack, and pad inflator. It only weighs about 2 ounces, and is a great replacement for your sleeping bag/quilt stuff sack. I shove my quilt down inside and then throw my rolled up pad down inside with it along with my rolled up pillow. All three fit great and I can even purge a bunch of air out compressing it all down to a very manageable and packable load. As I said, it's also seam taped to make it waterproof. The only thing to keep in mind is that the pad you want to use it with has to use the flat valve style inflation valve, and it's got to be at least 20mm in diameter. You can get an adapter to use with older pads that use the 30mm valves. As a pad inflation device, this works beautifully. I have an REI pad with 30mm flat valve inflation, and this fit it perfectly and when I inflate it, it only takes about 3 - 4 bag inflations to fill my pad up. And there' no real trick to inflating the Schnozzel. Simply open the end and allow air to get inside. Then you can either close the ends and roll them downward to create air pressure, or you can simply grab the bag near the top and give it a twist to close. Then, just press down to force the trapped air into your pad. Works great! If you have a non-Exped flat valve mat, check with the manufacturer to see what size the valve is. This is definitely one of the most useful pieces of gear I've ever gotten.
Eagle Creek Pack-It® Specter Tablet Sleeve White Last One
    24 February 2016
    perfect for large tablets
This pouch is the perfect size for a 10" tablet. anything smaller though tends to be swallowed up by it. When I got this, I thought it was smaller than it is, and had planned on using it for my 8" tablet. But, that fits in there easily along with my Nook tablet as well and there's a little room at the top left over. It's very cushiony as well. I'd recommend this if you have a large tablet and want something to protect it from bumps and bangs within your luggage.
