quality product
I bought the kindle as a christmas present to myself. I had kindle PC and wanted to read in other locations and postions other than at my desk. Which is one of the things I like about it - portability and simplicity. I can easily bookmark where I am up to and come back to it. I don't understand the location system as it doesn't equate to normal page numbers ie one screen change is a largish jump in numbers. I can tell how far I am into the book via the percentage count. I am not too happy about the battery life, it is used up too quickly and needs to be charged almost daily. Need to find battery life saving measures. I would still buy it again as it was a bargin and links nicely to amazon and the millions of books available there. It also reads pdfs nicely too.

A must have book for great pleasure reading
I bought this book because I needed to complete the set, so now I can proudly say I own the set for under $25, love a bargain. I most liked that I was sucessful in finding a great bargain, I cherish secondhand books and found the experience most enjoyable, the hunt and the aquiring is the best part. This book isn't my favourite of the set but it is written acceptionally well, so well you can't put it down. I experienced a few late nights page turning. It is not hard to read elitist quality literature, it is a classic of its time, aimed at a certain market - young adults - but has a wider appeal, without taking itself too seriously. If I didn't already own this book I would buy it because it completes my set and it is a series you will want to re-read more than once.
