Dependable and convenient
I love these drives. Been using them for years (1 and 2 TB). I use a pair of them on trips ... I offload my footage once to each before wiping SD cards. Only ever had a problem with one once ... that was because of me transferring files while on a road that got rougher than I expected .. still I was able to recover the drive. Not supposed to jostle spinning drives, eh? SO that was my fault.
The interface is simple and fast, bus power rules!

So far so good!
Used this 1TB puppy to replace a perfectly good but too small 250GB Samsung SATA 3 SSD as my system drive.
I kept the Samsung intact as backup.
One never knows, do they?
But so far, no complaints. The speed is about the same although there should be some fasterness becasue my drive isn't 95% full ....
Unit seems well built, and came in a useful package (to store the old drive in) I do not like waste in packaging, and this was good.
