Compact clean and powerful solid state head amp
I bought this as a counterpoint to Fender Tweed Custom. I wanted an really clean sound as opposed to the always breaking up (but gorgeous) valve sound. This little amp really delivers. Has a lot of clean headroom that seems to defy its wattage. Equalisation is well judged and the reverb is passable. The 'drive' channel is like most solid state amps ... monotonous. But I didn't buy it for that and don't use it.

A great handling camera
I use this mainly for stills photography and it is in my view one of the best M43 cameras around. In terms of image quality I never find there is much to choose between them, but in terms of handling and ergonomics the GH3 stands out. It has all of the serious controls (WB, ISO, Drive mode etc) all in obvious and easily reached positions. It just "works". For those who like them (I don't) the touch screen control is also great. It is sometimes criticised against newer models but I find the viewfinder just great.

Still superb quality
4 of 4 found this helpful the Canon 5D is more than 10 years old but still cuts it as a great stills camera. If you just want great photos from a fully featured DSLR you really cannot go wrong. A good condition used body costs the same as a point and shoot. Add a 50mm Canon lens and get some great shallow depth of field photos.
