No instructions makes it hard to assemble correctly.
I thought I would go the less expensive route with this product but without instructions on how to get it wound in the spool the wire quickly jumped the track and I was once again left with a broken spool and bent wire. I would not again attempt this product but would spend the extra $15 to get the fully assembled assembly without motor. My fully assembled regulator came wound with both of the springs taught against the housing. Hopefully this information can help the adventurous who just have to try this product. I would steer clear.
