Looks good, but ...
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been using a Timex Ironman for many years, but after an unsuccessful attempt at changing the battery I thought I could try a Casio because they look nicer. I was not disappointed with the appearance, and the watch had all the features I wanted. I could not work out how to turn off that annoying beep when you press a button - either it cannot be done or the instructions are lacking
I found that the buttons on the side of the watch were too sensitive, so I had to move my Fitbit to my other wrist. On the other hand, the buttons on the front have the opposite problem - these are for the stopwatch and you can easily fail to press hard enough when passing a mile/km marker, though perhaps you get used to pressing right.
The big problem was that a few weeks after getting it, the strap came off. A little piece of plastic where the pins connecting the strap fit into the case had broken off. To fix it, I drilled a couple of little holes where the pins sit and ran some thick fishing line through. A few weeks later, the strap came off again after I had a fall. This time it was the same thing but where the strap attaches on the other side of the watch. I then noticed my arm was a funny shape which was a greater concern to me than the watch. Giving up on that watch - for a start it is difficult to fix things when you have a broken arm.
I am rather disappointed with this - I would have expected better quality from a brand like Casio.
