Perfect fit

Paddle material too thick for Honda application
The paddle material on your paddles is thicker then the factory paddles.
Usually it is nice to have thicker material on the paddles because it is stronger and could last longer.
The paddles on the Honda have to slip between two pieces of metal on the rotors. The extra thickness on your paddles made it so the could not slip into place between the metal rotors.
