Built like a tank with tone to die for.
1 of 1 found this helpful This amp exceeded my expectations. I had researched the amp and watched the demos so I sort of knew what to expect. I am currently playing the amp through a 2x12 cabinet with Weber Silver Jubilees.
This amp will produce such a wide variety of tones, it's impossible to cover them all here. The amp is hand built with heavy duty components. It is designed to be customized by the end user by changing either or both the preamp or power tubes at will. The chassis is printed with all of the possible tubes you can use and with the instructions on how to bias the amp yourself with a volt meter and small flat head screwdriver. It is very simple and easy to understand.
I'm currently running the stock tubes which include a pair of EL34's in the power section. All of the controls are very usable and the tonal possibilities are endless. I have it set up so that the clean is very clean with just a bit of an edge when the quitar volume is all the way up. Then I have the boost set so that when I hit the boost button on the included footswitch the amp produces a smooth high gain overdrive with clairity. It's truly a players amp. Among it's many features is a knob labeled "Master" which is also footswitch controllable. This acts like the THD Hot Plate allowing you to drive the amp and still play at tolerable volumes. It is also switchable between 50 and 20 watts. This is the amp I have been looking for.

Very versatile tremolo pedal, I would highly recommend it.
Used the pedal for the first time Friday night at a gig. Very intuitive and user friendly. Excellent tremolo pedal that allows you to choose the depth, shape of the wave, type of wave (from sine to triangle to square), and has tap tempo. The last knob is a rate/ratio knob. In rate mode you set the speed by the tap tremolo or turn the knob for faster/slower speeds. In ratio mode you set the speed with the tap tempo and then choose 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 or 4:1 speed on the knob. That feature makes sure that the double, triple and quadruple speeds are in time with your tapped tempo. Great pedal, I would recommend it!

If you play live, you must have these.
What is there left to say. The SM57 is the industry standard for instrument mics. I use them in live situations for the guitars and drums. There are more job specific microphones out there (overhead condensors, kick drum mics etc) but you can't go wrong with with the 57's. You can also use them for vocals if needed. I carry an arsenal of 57's to every gig.
