I can barely put it down
I was motivated to buy this after recently watching the Amy documentary on Netflix. So many people swooped in to write books about her after her death, and her family says they were never interviewed for any of them, so you kind of wonder where they got their information on Amy's childhood or family background. I was attracted to this book because it is written by her mother who has always shied away from the limelight. It is well written, sad, and sweet. I am about 3/4 way thru it now and can hardly put it down. If you love Amy's music or just like to read biographical books, I highly recommend this one.
