Author hurts his story with speculative side comments

Dull for the first 2 chapters. Unnecessary flashy vocabulary. Book needs a better editor. Story details are interesting but way author spends too effort much breaking the forth wall to talk to the reader about how clever I am. Hurts the claims he makes about F.L. Wright which far mostly speculative fetched
