A quality item.
A nicely finished water supply pipe. Matches rest of my Moen oil rubbed bronze items. Provided a good reach out from wall for an 8” diameter shower head. Allows for a downward rainfall type spray.

Not sure why you can't find new ones like this still being made.
Nicely compliments my existing set which is from this same era and manufacturer. They should still be offering these in stores. Fun to make. Looks good on tree. I will be keeping my eye out for additional sets.

Does not work on 1/2" shower arms
claims to work on shower arms (1/2" diameter pipe), but strap wrench only slips and does not grip. Grips on larger things but not on 1/2" pipe. Suspect it would not work on 3/4" pipe either. Tool is well built and has a comfortable fit to your hand. This is my second attempt at finding a non-marring strap type wrench to use on decorative shower pipe arms. Very disappointed as I bought this tool form the plumbing department in my local big box store. They should specify actual working minimum diameter.
