Screen has dead spots that do not respond to touch. Seller refuses to refund. As package has been opened! Seller states in the listing that item is new! But also states item is reconditioned. Seller says will only accept returns if packaging is unopened and screen has not been installed! I have offered to purchase another screen from another seller and install to prove existing screen is faulty. Unfortunately the seller is still insisting that will only accept return of unopened unused item.

It's quite clear that the buyer must return the item to the seller for exchange or refund. This aligns with the refund policies of most sellers once the item is returned to them. How do you expect to get a refund before sending the item back?

We had an issue with a product that was faulty in manufacture, but this seller went above an beyond a simple warranty claim, and just replacing the product, making sure that the replacement product was not just supplied, but that the device was tested and working correctly after installation.
