I received the item. I have no interest in trying to return it because I repaired it. However I shouldn't have had to repair it as it was described as "good working condition", but that's not how I received it. The item was not rewinding tapes at all it was just making a screeching noise. So I took it apart and I fixed it . Had it been anyone else buying this who had no knowledge of how to fix electronics they would have been more angry than me.

My 10 year old son's opinion...
0 of 1 found this helpful "It is a lot like Ripto's Rage, so if you are hoping for something REALLY new and different, this isn't it. There are some things different though, like the maps and baddies, different kinds of breath like bubble breath and ice breath, and you get to drive vehicles like tanks and stuff. I was hoping there would be cooler graphix or something and there's not, it's just the same. It is also really complicated and frustrating and I am kind of getting bored with it after only a month."

Strawberry Shortcake - The Sweet Dreams Movie (DVD)
A cute movie with a fun sentiment to believe in yourself and work hard to make your dreams come true. I bought it for my three year old daughter, and although she wasn't a Strawberry Shortcake fan at the time, she sure is now. She loves to sing along to the songs. I also have a 6 year old boy and when the movie arrived he was MORTIFIED by the thought of watching such a "girly movie" but turns out he actually likes to watch it with his little sister occasionally.
As a parent, I have to admit I have a hard time watching it. Most of the acting is really terrible and can be over the top irritating at times. The songs are REALLY cute though and it's good fun to listen to my daughter sing them.

Leap and Learn with Rayman
0 of 1 found this helpful I'm sure we aren't the only ones who struggle with this; our child wants to play a video game and we feel guilty letting them take part in such a mindless activity. Rayman Brain Games might be the solution to that problem.
The educational aspect of the gameplay is delivered like this; the child is given a problem delivered in oral form and then must choose the path that supplies the correct answer, meanwhile, navigating the typical obstacles of your usual video game.
Rayman Brain Games is very fun with really nice "sparkly" graphics. My six year old loves it. The game play is very well suited for the age group it is directed towards.
Only a couple negatives which brought it down to 4 stars for me. One of which is that sometimes it is a little difficult to understand the voice actor when he supplies the question. My child will often say, "What did he say?" and I honestly have to listen a couple times before I'm sure myself. The other is that the route the character follows through the level doesn't change, only the questions and answers do. This takes away from the educational value if your child replays it on a higher difficulty level because if you know the path to follow then you don't really have to pay attention to the problems and solutions anymore.
All in all, a GREAT game, and I wish they would make more like it.
