A solution that lives up to its promise
I have used this style of sharpener before but have never had results like these. With a few strokes in the the device my knives are sharpened to complete satisfaction. Slicing onions accurately with such a sharp knife is easy because the blade goes exactly where guided and cuts into the onion instead of sliding off the curve. Same with tomatoes. I was sceptical until I was lent the device by a friend. Within moments I knew that this was a product that lived up to my expectations so I ordered my own and was surprised by the offer of two for one and the already low price. If you are a serious cook or chef, do yourself a favour and invest in on of these. Always handily convenient and far more effective and faster than a conventional steel.

Cable too short
While the unit works well, the connection cable is too short and requires the purchase of an additional female to female link and a cable, making the whole arrangement cumbersome.
Since it is intended to be plugged into an amp and most amps replace on the floor and behind the musician, a two to three metre cable would be desirable.

Thumb/Finger grip angled wrong. Unit easily slips out of one's grip. Also one rubber pad slipped off in the first day and had to be glue back in place
