Poor laptop protection

I bought this because I needed a good work tore bag to carry my laptop. It’s marketed as being exactly that, with a padded laptop section. However what they have somehow totally overlooked is that the bottom of the laptop padded section, which should protect it from the ground, is unpadded fabric. So although the laptop is protected on the front and back, it has ZERO protection at the base. When you put the bag on the ground, you here the thumping sound of the laptop hit the ground. Metal on concrete. I couldn’t believe this and I have no idea why they left a 10mm gap there, it clearly was not tested and for this reason I can only rate this with 1 star. Otherwise it’s a nice bag.
