Some assembly required
Both units arrived in pieces and I thought they may have been damaged in shipping. However, I was able to reassemble the units once I referred to the picture to see how it was suppose to look. Also, the units fall apart when bumped or dropped. Placing them on the fridge door is not recommended. Ours frequently got bumped or knocked off. I had to reassemble them each time.
There is a learning curve to using them effectively. If you hold them too long on any one spot you are trying to seal, it will burn and leave a hole. It is easier to seal a potato chip bag than a plastic bag when you are learning.
The price was $1.75 at the time of purchase. If you have the patience to assemble and possibly reassemble the unit, it may be a good value for you. If you are looking for something more durable that will be used frequently, consider other options.
