Good strings for the price
For 10 quid delivered you can't go wrong. Yes there are cheaper ones out there but trust me they are crap. I didn't even have to intonation them and the stay in tune really well.

Excellent handle but a gentle razor
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this open comb razor as I'd read it was a moderate to high aggressive razor but I'd have to disagree. I'd describe it as gentle to moderate.
Paired with a feather it does an ok job of hacking through a 4 day growth but even after 3 passes it wasn't a BBS, had to go over a few areas several times. Blade exposure is minimal.
Top marks for the handle,excellent grip and balance.
A good introduction to open comb razors but if you're looking for an aggressive safety razor this is not it, you'd be better with a muhle r41.
