Best upgrade for the MP Shield
1 of 1 found this helpful Everything you've heard or read about the Apex Trigger kit for MP Shield is all true. Professional gunsmith install is recommended but if you have the basic know how and know your way around tools, you should be able to successfully install the full kit like I did. Saved me $40 my gunsmith is charging. Do your research and have the right tools on hand. Pull up a good installation video on Youtube while you're performing your install and just follow it step by step. Took me about 1.5 hours just because I took my time enjoying the install and learning more about how my Shield operates. Some might think this kit is way over priced but this is one of those "you get what you pay for" items. Just because the parts are small or even tiny doesn't reduce the expected result and quality. Every part no matter how small plays a crucial role in the install and overall performance. Your Shield will perform like a high end pistol after you installed it correctly. Beside the excellent action and feel , I love the way the aluminum trigger looks on the Shield. It gives that custom "pro" look. Took it to the range and very happy that I'm shooting with high accuracy which gives me the confidence to use the Shield as my primary carry. If you're still contemplating STOP and just get it. This is one purchase that buyer remorse wont apply if you're a gun enthusiast.

My first "real" wind chime and it didn't disappoint!

More than just a timer
Although the device has it's flaws, it is a perfect companion of the Kessil A360X light. It unlocks many features which otherwise would not be accessible as a standalone light such as the 1% incremental adjustments (to all the colors) and moonlight setting. The CPU is pretty responsive with bright enough display. The controller gives you the ability to fully customize the A360X or you can settle for the 4 presets if you prefer. The integrated power source through the K-link connection is also a big plus.
A couple of cons in my opinion about the Spectral Controller X:
1. There's no tactile feedback on the touch buttons. Navigating the controller in a dim room could be challenging. Physical buttons would have been much better
2. Pretty steep learning curve. Recommend watching a few videos to learn all its capabilities and programming. Expect lots of trial and error until you completely understand how the controller works
But once you've figured out how it works, it's great! All said, I still recommend the product
