Good product for the price. Well worth it.
1 of 1 found this helpful After trying evaporative coolers that barely did anything, this provided me much relief in what was the hottest summer on record in Perth for 20 years.
The window duct was too short for my window though but I just cut out a piece of the cardbord box it came with and used sticky tape and blue tack to cover the rest and it works fine.
Has a weird smell at first but now after 3 months it's pretty much gone. Other reviews complain about the noise but I think it's fine. In fact it's helped me sleep at night as a source of white noise since I have noisy housemates.
My room is about 3x3 and it cools it well even on 40 degree days with a gaming computer in my room that contributes to the heat. IIRC it was about 27-32 degrees on my themometer for room temperature on really hot days that were about 40 degrees outside. Not optimal but still bearable and way better than evaporative.
