Excellent Musical, Not Exactly Widescreen
Cats: The Musical is a fantastic production with amazing makeup, dancing and music (of course!). This version is the stage play, so no CGI nightmare fuel to contend with or stunt casting of famous celebrities. I had never watched this before and I am glad that I did.
DVD: !WARNING! It claims to be widescreen, but it's actually widescreen in a 4:3 format. Meaning, the image will NOT fill your HDTV! Instead, it will be a letterbox square in the middle of the screen, causing the image to appear much smaller. This would have been passable in the days of VHS, but not when DVD became the format of choice and certainly not with a Blu-Ray option available.
(One issue of note before buying a Blu-Ray instead of this DVD, the Region may be an issue. I would recommend ensuring that it will play in your country or have an All Region Blu-Ray player.)

Fantastic item! Blu-Ray visual quality is an improvement over DVD, includes special features, menu easily navigable for non-Spanish viewer.
