A Joy to use
I have one huge hedge, that needs to be trimmed as it overhangs a public footpath. I have tried several hedge trimmers in the past. Corded are a nuisance and cord keeps getting in the way. Petrol trimmer, great but very heavy, uncomfortable vibrations, and a pain to start at times.
I was skeptical a battery trimmer would have the power, but this little beauty works very well. Ready to go in an instant has all the reach I could wish for and chops through branches at least one centimeter or more in thickness. It is literally a joy to use and means the hedge is maintained more easily and more frequently - reducing the amount of waste that has to be collected and disposed of at once. I feel comfortable using this whilst on ladders to reach the top of the hedge.
The Battery is also used with an impact screwdriver and an angle grinder - no doubt other tools will follow :)
All in all - highly recommended.

A little old aginst current systems, but still useful bit of kit.
Item bought as spares or repair, untested. Hard drive was faulty. Repalced hard drive formatted OK unit now works very well, bargain

Over-rated
1 of 1 found this helpful These are OK rechargeable batteries, but do not believe the published rating. I tested them with charge current at 200 mA and discharge rate of 100 mA the average capacity was under 2100 mAh. Only one cell exceeded 2200 mAh and most were beween 2000 mAh and 2090 mAh.
I am using in camera flash guns so will need to make sure I carry extra sets to get through a full shoot.
