You don't know how much you need this until you buy it.
This is a great tool to add to your 20 V max line. I bought it on the recommendation of my brother, a contractor, he said it was quite handy. At first, I wasn't so sure.
I don't know what I would do without it now. It's like a sawzall for trim carpentry. I use it to finish cuts where the circular saw won't reach, make plunge cuts in hardwood flooring, and to trim back shake siding to add window trims. It can trim back door jams and casing when you install hardwood flooring.
Need to patch a doorknob hole? No problem with this tool. Very precise and little dust. Ive also used it to carve a channel under guardrails to conceal galvanized hardware.
Inside or out, this tool gets the jobs done. It's also easy on batteries. I use the 3AH battery and it generally lasts all day. Definitely recommended.

Hi Torque
I bought this impact to use for work. I am required to drive quarter inch legs through rafters or into beams for structural repairs.
I haven’t used it for much of that yet, but I can tell it’s easier for it to send regular deck screws than the Atomic or the older impacts I use.
