Perfect kit, has everything!
1 of 1 found this helpful So if you’re this deep into your turbo, you obviously know what you’re doing. There’s not a ton out there for rebuild videos, and the riff raff pdf doesn’t cover everything. These parts all fit perfect, you’ve got everything you need and a new o ring for the compressor housing. The pedestal rings are there, it does not include the rings between the pedestal and block, but the others are there. There aren’t instructions so I’ll simplify the steps I took. After removing the carrier housing from the exhaust side turbine ( a real P I T A) I cleaned up the center shaft and exhaust side wheel. Carefully remove the c clip, clean the groove, use some motor oil on the shaft, carefully slide on the new c clip. Next , take one of the brass bearings and the hexagonal spacer and slide them down the shaft. Now I put the shaft back in the carrier. Next take the other brass bearing and slide it down till it seats. Replace your carrier o ring. (Outer flat one). Now take the 360 degree bushing , the shiny deal, it’s got a small component and a larger 2 tiered one. I took the two tiered one and put the c clip on it, then put it small diameter first, into the rear of the compressor housing(aluminum 4 leaf clover shaped area). Then take your 360 degree thrust bearing and put it u side down. It has an outer channel in the shape of a u, the u should open towards the bottom I believe. It is clocked to only fit 2 ways. The channel should be facing out, towards the exhaust side wheel when assembled. Then take the other shiny bit and put the small diameter into the thrust bearing and the thin side out. Slide the intake compressor side with all your bearings onto the lubricated shaft. This should slide on easily. The pictures I’ll attempt to add should show the orientation of this with the tabs. Bolt down your compressor intake side to the carrier, 30ft lbs, in a star pattern. Snug them first . Slide your big o ring over the mating face on the intake, re install your old, or new intake compressor side, put your outer housing on and you’re good to go. If you’re rebuilding it this last part should be easy. I just found the thrust bearing instructions in particular to be not so clear. I also have no idea where the x shaped gasket goes. I could not find a groove nor did I find one during disassembly. This may be an extra for the newer turbo. Mines a 95 obs gp38

Much better than expected
I didn't think these would be so solid but they are, real metal. Nice gloss lettering. Amazing value. Comparable ones were 50$. So glad I found these. Will buy again

Works Perfect at a great price
Works better than the 95 original, at a quarter the cost. Works in my 95obs. Very happy
