This adaptor is defective and dangerous. Do nit buy it!!!
The adaptor destroyed not only my usb-c port but the entire usb-c charging system of my macbook 15inch. As soon as I plugged in the charging sign of the Mac turned on, but the comment was "battery not charging". The item started to heat, while no light was shown in the MagSafe plug. I disconnected it, but the charging sign with the comment "Mac is not charging" was still on. I connected the original power supply to another port and it showed charging, but the Mac started to lose charge and went off comply after a night. I still have to take my Mac to Apple but I believe the damage us pretty bad. Do not buy this item!!!
