Boz Scaggs went to the next level of his music career with this album
If you want an album where the musical stars aligned superbly for Boz Scaggs, then this is the one to own. You can work your way backwards and **forwards from this landmark one.
Boz, along with his band (some of whom went on to form Toto), hit the mark straight from track 1 00.01 to the end.
The addition of 3 bonus live tracks on this version is just the icing on the cake.
I have always loved this album and this Blu Spec rendition brings out even more nuances then previously heard on the standard editions.
Can't stop playing it.
**The follow up 'Down Two Then Left' comes in a close second...

Steve Miller Band really does 'Fly Like An Eagle'
Probably my favourite Steve Miller Band stand alone album.
The songs seem to exhude an 'air of ease' around each one.
Intense but sublime in equal measure; perhaps being a 3 piece band helps in this regard.
This version contains an extra 3 tracks.
It also contains a bonus disc, being a DVD of a live concert in 2005 featuring the likes of George Thorogood and Joe Satriani (you know, just a couple of 'ring-in' guitar guys...)
If you weren't 100% convinced to buy it before, this should tip you over the edge...
...just do it...!!
