Great for the price.
Going into this purchase I understood the limitations. For the price I am very happy. Mine came with the same English firmware that most all economy Hikvision dvrs have. The default password was 12345. The biggest limitation is the resolution capacity. Available bandwidth is fine however the NVR can not display higher than 1080p. That means that using 3mp cameras will be wasteful. However, this NVR will display the substream of those cameras in 2x2 or 3x3 screen mode. In 1080p this unit seems just as fast as more expensive Hikvision NVRs. Be mindful that you need a separate POE switch.

Good value. Good sound.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and volume these speakers produce. I got these to install at a coffee shop and they work as intended. I used a 60 watt amplifier for the 4 speakers. My only concern was the plastic ears that are used to fasten the speakers to drywall/ceiling tile. When you start screwing them in you have to be careful, they tend to catch on the edge and it could crack the plastic mount.

Excellent sound quality!
7 of 7 found this helpful This radio has excellent sound. Much better than the 777 model. Programming was easy using chirp and a baofeng usb to headphone cable. I had to use Windows 7 for the driver to recognize the cable. Remember to open the battery cover and remove the plastic when you receive it. Note to all, the default channels should not be used in the USA. You really should program this for frs grms frequencies. All in all a good purchase. The sound quality alone makes it worth a few extra $ over the 777 model.
