The Razor's Edge (DVD,2002) Bill Murray, Theresa Russell,James Keach; John Byrum
    03 March 2017
    Don't waste your time!!
Pales in comparison to 1946 version in every way. Amateur vanity project for star Bill Murray, he's uncomfortable in every scene with the proceedings, the rest of the cast is just as of out of place as star Murray. The only exceptions are Brian Doyle Murray in an all to short part and Denholm Elliott as the snobbish society matron Elliott Templeton, perfect casting for both. The whole movie your waiting for Bill Murray to break into his Caddy shack, Ghostbusters or Stripes characters. The whole production is slightly above a Lifetime TV movie. If want to see the definitive realization of this classic story, stick with the 1946 verison, the cast Tyrone Power[who had just returned from active duty in world war 2], Gene Tierney, Ann Baxter and Clifton Webb are all superb, the absolutely wonderfully score ( by Alfred Newman) and the flawless direction by edmound goulding, a true classic, done with a sense of wonder ,drama and spiritual awakening. like bill murray says " he's not the same old mister sunshine", save your money and your time.

At the Close of a Century [Box] by Stevie Wonder (CD, Nov-1999, 4 Discs, Motown)

    Essential “Stevie Wonder”!!
Of all “best of or greatest hits” packages available of Stevie Wonder this is the most comprehensive and complete of them all. The accompanying book is full of essential information of tracks, photographs and biography. The remastered tracks are bright and full of depth not heard on their original releases as well as being uncut not having the time restrictions as on single ( or double disc ) collections, all in a very sturdy and attractive package. It is a great place to start for new listeners and a welcome collection for long time fans..

    Timeless fun!!
Classic comedy from the funniest comic duo ever!! Good natured wholesome comedy the whole family can watch without covering the kids eyes and ears all the time!! Their rapport with their audience is second to none, they make us laugh and remind us when the world was a nicer and kinder place to live in.
