Pertronix 1281 1957-74 8 Cylinder Ford Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit

Works great but needs separate circuit

I installed one of these in my 1970 Mustang and it worked great and installed easily. However, on my 1956 T-bird it ran very rough unless powered directly from the battery. The installation instructions describe this possibility and recommend a separate circuit (not ignition wire).
