The holes are far apart which makes it easier to get your fingers around a case & not bump into the remainder. But, the holes are a bit too snug of a fit on .30 / 8mm cases.

The best can opener money can buy

High quality, heavy duty can opener made in St. Louis, MO. U.S.A. by the J Steuby Co. A few flicks of the wrist & it slices through can tops like butter. Actual, real live, stainless steel: unlike the Chinese GARBAGE where 'stainless' means it was not rusty the day they put it in the package.! Do not waste your money on any other brand.
