Great value
3 of 3 found this helpful First unit I got the remote didn't work. Renogy customer service promptly repaired the entire unit.
Unit works fine so far. I use it for an RV with two Renogy 100 watt solar panels.
In tests I can run coffee maker, microwave and toaster at the same time with no fault trip.
I don't like using the noisy generator and this setup seems to fit my requirements.
I like the wireless remote. It makes shutting down the loads easy.
The unit can be powered by DC thru the cables available with the unit, 4 cables, 2 for each pole or you can use only one cable for each polarity as I did. I had to run 4' so I used 4' of heavy 4/0 cable to provide plenty of 12 volt DC. The supplied cables are convenient and easy to route if you only need a 3' cable.
I did a fair amount of research on these type of inverters.
Many of the reviews I read were poor for other units. Renogy had fairly good reviews.
In the end I chose Renogy 2000 watt inverter based on:
-Quality reputation and prior experience with Renogy solar panels.
-Pure sine wave
-Wireless remote
- Full 3 year warranty
- Flexible cabling setup
- Excellent Customer and technical service. These folks answer thier phone and are very customer centric. This alone makes them a great value in my mind.

Get the tubes
1 of 1 found this helpful Tubes are much better than the can. Glue keeps longer and is easier to apply. The tubes are easily transported for wetsuit repairs on the road.
