Fast but not as Fast as I hoped

Bought this to replace a WD Black NVMe SSD. This drive is supposed to be 2-3x faster. I wasn't expecting to notice that much of a difference since the old drive was already pretty fast, but for some situations the Samsung actually is SLOWER. For instance it takes about 50% longer to boot up now. If I hadn't gotten a good deal on this drive I would be disappointed, but since I only ended up paying slightly more than the WD drive I have no real complaints.
