Used D800
2020, if you are looking for a serious camera, how about the D850???? Yeah I know to expensive for me too. a 2012 predecessor the D800 is almost as good and can be found used, not cheaply but affordably, the differences are only apparent to the professionals who live and die by their work and are used to paying Thousands of Dollars for cameras and Lenses. FX, 36 Mega Pixels what's not to like? It doesn't have the lightning fast speed of the Sports photography D6 but do you really care, is 4 frames per second not enough for you? I came to this camera from a D7000 which was OK but a stepping stone for me. I'm still learning but 90% of what I have shot so far I really like. Find one with a low shutter count ( for me that was under 50k ) and in decent shape way under a thousand bucks if you look. If you don't have any FX lenses consider the Nikkor 50mm at 1.8, even new its dirt cheap this pair will rock your socks.
