neat shelf but slick
Everyone in the office is wanting one now but it is super slick so I had to use a shelf liner mat and make a make-shift back rail.

Overall super pleased with the phone even being an older model.
This phone was bought as a back up when my fruity phone went down for no apparent reason and used until I was eligible for upgrade.
I love the phone overall. It is easy to use. The keyboard is great, even fits hubby's big fingers. That touchpad is pretty neat but I didn't really use it much just because I'd never used one on a phone before.
The operating system was a little old but it did the job nicely. I can't complain even after having used a more recent android version. The apps loaded quickly and never had any problem with them being clunky or stalling.
Call quality was good, just as good as on my other phone and even the new one once I finally got my upgrade.
The phone was heavier than I was used to from newer phones but not a big deal, actually made it feel more secure in my hand.
I didn't use much else on the phone because it was just a temporary phone. But I will definitely keep the phone operational and use the wifi to keep it up to date in case I need it for back up again. Might even become a first phone for one of my sons when they get old enough.

great phone, but does require data
2 of 2 found this helpful this phone is really great for men because it's a little more bulky making it easier for big hands to hold on to. it runs windows OS and is set up like a computer screen, so for ppl who don't like change, this is great! because it's set up just like a computer screen, there is virtually nothing new to learn. you go to start and then to whatever program you're wanting. simple, just like on a desktop or laptop. i had no problem with the wifi connectivity. found my router and connected flawlessly. for my purposes, even the camera took good pics. it's got the number pad right on the front so dialing calls is very simple.
honestly, this phone is very neat! it doesn't compare to android phones in regards to OS, but it wasn't meant to either. this phone would be perfect for a business person or executive that needs access to documents from Word or Excel because, being windows, it has those programs already on the phone, no need to find or download apps that are compatible.
i got this phone thinking because it was an older model i wouldn't have to get a data plan, but that was wrong. the phone is classified as a smartphone and verizon requires a data plan on all smartphones, regardless of age, or at least that's what i was told by 4 different online representatives and the rep at the local verizon store, as of feb 2013.
so, great phone, great value, great wifi connectivity. this phone would be perfect if it just didn't have to have data.
